jesse and i just got back from exercising our amazing right to vote. we took all three kiddos with us to show them democracy in action. mostly they just liked the stickers. but hiding in the booth behind the curtain with me was a close second. regardless, they saw us making our voices heard by penciling in the ovals on our ballots. pretty good civics lesson for the day, i'd say.
don't take it for granted. don't neglect your democratic duty. don't forget to vote.
(and when you get back from the poll and the *important* voting, take a moment and cast a little vote for our room. we need to catch up.)
