today was day one of year two of homeschool at casita hart.
it was truly a good one. not perfect, or even what i hoped for, but it was nonetheless good. we are thanking Him for grace and provision.
there were no "happy first day" banners or special table settings at breakfast. we were an hour and half behind due to unexpected sleeping in. (not me!) the new schedule will need some time to take. this mama will need some time to get her bearings.
but there were eager minds and wonderful books. praise God.
and in related news, don't you love the desk? :)
this last minute freecycle score from yesterday was put to good use.
now the question is should it stay in the dining room? i think yes.
