the end is in sight

three more days. three more days and we will be ready for the appraisal, the pictures, the sign. well, we will pretend we are ready regardless of what is done and what is not. i have been less consistent in my posting due to every free moment going towards the house. painting doors, organizing closets, cleaning cobwebs, installing faceplates, and so on and so on. the to do list is finally down to one page and i feel so much weight lifting from my shoulders. over six months ago we made the decision to sell our beloved first home. it takes a lot of work to get a house ready for sale. especially when you decide to gut and redo your whole kitchen and have two young children to take care of. i am looking forward to the day we close and pray that it is not too many months down the road. please put out the word if you hear anyone talking about wanting a charming cape cod in a great neighborhood with the appeal of an old home yet the convenience of modern updates (do i sound like an ad - i should). please keep our family in your prayers during this time.
