but i can share with you one funny story. the children are still with my parents due to unforeseen circumstances. luca has refused to speak with jesse and i over the phone these past few days. he thinks if we talk to him it means we are coming to get him and he is having way too much fun to even consider that. when asked if he would like to say hi, he shouts, "NO!" and runs away. to illustrate this point, my mom asked if he wanted to talk to his "aunt maura" on the phone this morning. luca walked over to the phone and had a lovely little conversation with her. the little stinker.
