these photos seem like a lifetime ago. and i am only exaggerating a wee bit.
it was the very next day that we made the official decision to move. and then everything changed.
amidst the job interviewing, getting acquainted with our new friends and exploring the city of albuquerque, we took an afternoon for pure sightseeing. i was eager to see old town and visit san felipe de neri church. we strolled the streets, popped into a few for some shopping, and celebrated our 12th anniversary a month early with some cuisine française. the nutella and vanilla ice cream crepe was oh so delicious.
i am thankful for this pocket of time with jesse during such an unreal season of life. we could never anticipated the events of this past summer. never ever. i can't begin to imagine what the next 12 years will bring.
i am told old town is a must see during the christmas season.
my heart goes pitter patter for luminarias.
dear husband of mine, methinks we will be coming back here then. this time, let's bring the littles.

Old Town is so gorgeous at Christmas time. Since we've moved, I spend every holiday wishing I was there! Also, La Crepe Michel is one of my fave restaurants. SOOOO yummy! :)

oh friend! the luminarias ARE the best! You will love it. I'm a little sad that we won't be here for Christmas Eve this year!! We went to La Crepe Michel 2 years ago when we were on our anniversary weekend celebration....So glad you go to experience Old Town with your love!
