oh folks, i am so ready to eat some bbq and listen to some good live music. when jesse travels to nashville on business, i am always envious of his evening excursions. (thanks lauren for the nashville tips. the loveless cafe was one of jesse's must-eats. which sounds mighty fine to me. we are also planning a visit to franklin.)
goodness, do i have a lot to do still. packing for myself took way too much time. and then there is the preparing to leave the littles bit. but. . . so worth it. (can you tell i am excited?)
as a side note, did you happen to see my lamp makeover on apartment therapy and poppytalk yesterday? that was very cool. thanks ladies for the features.
and the giveaway madness continues. how about a buttercup felt rose brooch? i thought so.
gorgeous wool-blend felt is handcut and handsewn to make this fabulous one of a kind piece. dress up a simple tank, your little black dress, or the lapel of a jacket. it can also be used to add some pizazz to a purse, hat, scarf or pillow. the rose measures 2.5-3 inches wide and is 1-1.5 inches deep. a 3/4 inch silver pin back is securely sewn to the back.
leave a comment for a chance to call this brooch yours. you must be a follower of the blog to be eligible. please leave your e-mail, so i can get in touch with you. the giveaway will remain open until sunnday 3/27.
