would you like to come in for a tour of the boys' new room?
we cleaned it and everything.
as i mentioned in the post about gia's new space, enzo moved over here to share with big brother luca. we were not quite ready for our crazy kiddo to leave the crib. the older two had made the transition by this age, but enzo is fiesty and mama needs a little more help this time around.
i LOVED enzo's nursery so much. good thing this room came together so fabulously. the switch has not been difficult for lil' emotional me.
in fact, there are so many good things about luca and enzo sharing. my boys are best buds. despite the age gap, we see a sweet future friendship. since night one, their nicknames have been 'mates (as in roommates). i love hearing luca cry out for his 'mate to come and play. oh, and this? yeah, pretty darn precious.
this freecycle found vintage school desk was picked up weeks before the room swap. just in time to be put to use housing the many library books.
this is actually a shot of luca's bed from last year's room tour. not much has changed. just an extra pillow or two taken from the daybed before it went girlie. evidence to be found below.
the origami star mobile made the move with enzo.
now there are three star mobiles hanging in this room.
i heart the new set-up on their shelves. let's take a closer look.
a few sources to list:
the wall color is kiwi by benjamin moore.
the curtains are from ikea in 2009.
the wrought iron crib gifted 2004
red headboard was jesse's growing up
oval rag rug was from a local store in 2005
crocheted blanket is a thrift store score.
this is obviously an incomplete list. if there is something you are interested in, just leave a comment, and i will update as needed.
thanks for visiting. i don't think you'll find the place this neat if you stop by in person, but all fun, color, and love should be present.
