on this new road

it has been a year since we made the decision to move to albuquerque.

or, better yet, a year since we trusted God to take us here.

this time last july, we sold our house crazy fast.

we packed up our belongings in three weeks.

we set off on this new road into a new life.

i am feeling a bit homesick today.

but oh so glad that my best friend came with me into all this new.
