eleven months down, one to go before this guy turns one.
i am not ready for him to not be no-years-old.
we like to call him the littlest.
i know he still will be the littlest after his birthday, but it will be a different kind of littlest.
i am a total sap and now i need to plan a party.

That's a beautiful picture. I felt the same way when my youngest turned one in September.
Maybe you can tell me - do the subsequent birthdays sting like the first one does? Ada's first birthday was a colossally emotional time for me! We've only done this once (first baby, 16 months old)...my heart may not survive it if each year is that intense.
Love the picture! Is that the Infantino piano? We have one in turquoise. Ada makes herself giggle with the plink plink plink of the keys.
