staycation (part two)

for our first full day of staycation, we visited allerton park in monticello.  just a half hour drive to absolute gorgeousness.  and the romantic in me loves visiting the place jesse proposed.

this makes me think of elizabeth visiting pemberley and touring the grounds.  we didn't run into mr. darcy though.

the light was super bright, being the middle of the afternoon, so the photos are a bit washed out.  i think we need to plan an early morning trip here for a photo shoot.  not that i need another reason to visit allerton.  this was an excellent part of our staycation and maybe my favorite part of the weekend.
