it didn't take us long to go exploring.
the sandia mountains rise up on the east side of albuquerque and make you rethink your definition of the desert.
well, they made me rethink mine.
the kiddos were itching for a trip to the "tippy top" since day one. they only had to wait 14 days.

3 things i learned while on sandia crest. . .
- enzo has no fear and will attempt to climb any and all things
- jesse probably saved enzo's life at least 3 times
- we will probably not return with enzo until acquiring some sort of harness/backpack/leash to contain the fearless boy
oh and one more. i also learned that our new home is pretty amazing.
30 minutes of driving and you get these views. seriously.
there is so much more to see of the sandias. we plan on taking full advantage of their proximity.
we have a long list of places to explore here. i can't wait to share each of them with y'all.
